I've been teaching classes for expectant parents in Russian and English since 2017 and am certified by Childbirth International as a childbirth educator. I am also trained in perinatal psychology.

Over years of working with expectant parents in different countries, I’ve come to a realization that nobody really tells you: the country where you give birth matters immensely. Birth preparation must take into account the local context and obstetric realities. It’s not just about understanding physiology, but learning how to navigate what to expect from doctors, how to communicate with them, what hospital facilities are available, and all the other subtle nuances. I’m not just preparing you for birth as a universal physiological process — I’m preparing you for giving birth in this specific place.

Prenatal class series in Valencia
Dear pregnant moms and dads/partners! 🤰✨
I am launching this season’s first Express Birth Prep Course — a series I’ve taught for years, fully adapted to the Spanish healthcare system and local hospital realities.
This express format consists of 4 interactive sessions (2.5 hours each). What we will cover:

Onset of Labor: Early signs, hospital timing, and reading your body's signals.

Physiology of Birth: Understanding labor as a natural physiological process — what to expect and what it all means.

Active Labor & Comfort Measures: Self-help tools, breathing techniques, pain management, and hands-on partner support.

Pushing Stage: How your body works in the second stage, plus practical position & breathing practice.

The Golden Hour: Delivery of the placenta and those vital first bonding moments with your baby.

Navigating the Spanish Healthcare System: Understanding medical necessity vs. routine intervention, informed consent, and how to advocate for yourself with confidence in a foreign medical system.
By the end of the course, you will feel calm, prepared for any scenario, and empowered to navigate your birth with confidence — regardless of the language barrier.

Dates: 6 & 7 + 13 & 14 of November (two weekends in a row) from 11 AM till 1:30 PM

Class Size: Intimate group of max 5 couples for personalized practice and support.
